What is carbon monoxide? 
Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odorless, colorless, tasteless, and deadly byproduct of burning fuels for cooking or heating. Toxic CO concentrations can occur suddenly or accumulate over a period of time. Therefore, GLORIA detectors use a technology that is effective in both situations.
