hf Throwbag Ropes as Working and Replacement Ropes

Safety equipment should be checked regularly and replaced if necessary, which is why we also offer the ropes from our throwbags individually.
When replacing a damaged throwbag rope, a threaded overhand knot (as with the original) should be used at the bottom loop. After tightening firmly, the free end of the knot should be at least 7cm long.

These ropes are used as working ropes in water rescue by professional rescue services such as fire departments, water rescue, DLRG, THW, etc. The common lengths are 60, 100, and 200m, with the most used version being the 10mm kernmantle rope.
An °hf Dry-Pack 20 liters in red (#077204) is suitable for transporting the 60-meter length, while the °hf Master Pack Trekking 60l has proven effective for the 100-meter length. For storage, the rope should be dried and the dry bag closure should remain open.
The ropes are delivered loosely in a PE bag or cardboard box (not on spools).
